GU Filmhouse, Hindley Street

GU Film house is the second art house cinema, deriving from a new concept we developed internally across Australia. Located in a city context we took cues from the urban context and incorporated them within the materials palette, combined with the realised brand ‘look and feel’ – concrete, timber and an industrial materials created a contemporary aesthetic and a refreshing decor never to be seen in cinema design in Australia.
